A Thousand Strong—and Growing!
This summer, Televerde Foundation hit a milestone we’ve been working toward since day one: more than 1,000 women have now graduated from our PATHS programs. That’s 1,000 unique stories of grit and reinvention. It’s also 1,000 new voices in the workforce, in families, and in communities where possibility once felt out of reach.
But milestones aren’t finish lines. They’re starting points. Each graduate reminds us that the work ahead is bigger than the numbers—it’s about who they’ll become, what they’ll build, and the generations they’ll influence.

The Indiana Effect
This fall, the UMass Donahue Institute released an independent report that puts hard numbers behind the impact of Televerde Foundation’s work, and the results are extraordinary.
- Women in our PATHS program are:
87.5% less likely to return to prison than the state average. - Earning more than double the median income of the formerly incarcerated.
- Fueling $66 million in annual economic activity, $4.1 million in public savings, and $7.2 million in new tax revenue.
We think you’ll agree, these numbers are proof that second chances lift women, strengthen families, and grow entire economies.
And it’s made possible because of strong partnerships with the Indiana Department of Correction, U.S. Department of Labor, Televerde, Aventiv Technologies, McGraw-Hill, and all our partners and champions around the globe. Thank you!

Moments That Moved Us
Confidence in Every Pack
Some gifts aren’t wrapped in paper or bows. Instead, they arrive in backpacks filled with notebooks, pencils, and the kind of confidence that can carry a child through the first day of school and beyond.
Once again, our Televerde Foundation community came together for our annual Backpack Drive, getting packs on the backs of more than 250 children of incarcerated moms and sending them into classrooms to start the school year strong.
Each backpack carried a message: ”You are not forgotten. You are loved. You are ready to thrive.“ From mothers writing tearful thank-you notes to children proudly showing off their new bags, the impact was felt in ways no checklist of school supplies could capture. Next stop: the Principled Business Summit in New York City on Oct. 16, where she’ll keynote on how principled leadership transforms lives and communities.

Spots Are Filling Fast—Tee off FORE Second Chances!
On Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, we’ll hit the green at Stonecreek Golf Course in Phoenix for our third annual charity outing.
More than a tournament, it’s a day where stories are shared, connections are made, and a community of advocates rallies behind second chances. Last year, your generosity helped women earn certifications, secure jobs, and reunite with their families.
This year, the stakes are even higher. That’s why we need you on the course. Every foursome, every swing, every sponsor helps turn second chances into new beginnings.

Can’t make it to Phoenix? Give From Anywhere.

Data Science Meets Second Chances
Ever wonder if second chances can be proven? They can—and we’re doing it. We’ve teamed up with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) at the University of Notre Dame to study the impact of our Career PATHS programs.
Using a randomized controlled trial—the gold standard of research—LEO is tracking recidivism, employment, and long-term mobility for women in Arizona and Indiana. The results will take time, but the outcome is big: hard data that shows second chances work. More to come!
Every certification earned. Every job secured. Every life transformed — it all starts with you. Your belief in second chances fuels this movement and creates real, lasting change.
Together, we’re not just giving second chances. We’re building better futures.
